Saturday, March 24th, 2014: The American passenger plane DC-146 disappears from air traffic control radar. After hours without contact with the flight, the plane, and its 239 passengers are declared missing.

Friday, November 14th, 2014: The American passenger plane MH-370 re-appears at Miami airport without warning. As news crews and police arrive, it is found out that none of the passengers or flight crew noticed that they were missing for eight months, and only remember being on a five hour flight.

Now, one week later, the passengers and flight crew are being held in a maximum security facility on the outskirts of Miami, Florida. Everyone is confused, as passengers repeat the same mundane story of what they did on the flight, and special agents grow tired of not getting anywhere.

One night though, four passengers have a lucid dream of being back on the aircraft. They soon realise that they can communicate with each other subconsciously, and that they might have found the key to their freedom.

They know that this is a secret best kept to themselves though, and agent Maclean, one of the special agents tasked with finding out the truth about DC-146 is cracking down on them.

Who will win? Will the passengers find the truth and manage to break free, or will Maclean get to them first?

The following is inspired by real-world events.

"GET THE FUCK DOWN, NOW!" roared Carlos. To their horror, they heard gunshots and glass breaking. Both girls started screaming as Carlos pulled out a pistol from his trench coat. Florida and Greta covered their ears, trying to duck as low as they could below the seats. Eileen sped down the freeway, dodging cars effortlessly. Florida looked towards a horrified Greta and tried to calm her down, but the bullets flying into the car were making it hard for her to gather her thoughts. A bullet ripped through the passenger seat above her head as she screamed again, flattening her body lower to the floor. Carlos grunted at the impact as Florida realized with sudden dread that he was shot. Suddenly, both girls' screams were swallowed up by a tremendous explosion behind them as Florida witnessed a partial view of a white vehicle door flying right past Eileen's window. She was fighting to stay conscious but suddenly grew light-headed as white spots started to invade her vision. Suddenly everything went to black on Florida. Florida Desterrados is a typical 16-year-old, utterly bored with her mundane existence. However, the assumedly ordinary life she was living, will soon be turned upside down following a traumatic event. Florida's ordeal suddenly becomes a catalyst to eventual violence and death. And out of a desperate will to survive at all costs, she will need to learn of the secrets and lies regarding her family's tragic history from a stranger who reveals himself to be her father's twin brother. Her family was not all as it seemed. Full of intrigue, eroticism, fantasy, suspense, and forbidden romance. Hi there, I'm JD, a 31-year-old Venezuelan-Spanish Economist living in Barcelona with my Russian (pro-peace) wife Anna and our two kittens; we met in Italy eight years ago, and almost since then we have been working on this project. During our careers we've worked with people from South America to Japan, from Australia to Canada, from South Africa to Norway, the characters in the novel are based on people I was lucky enough to meet along the way who left me with invaluable lessons which we feel the duty and privilege of sharing with our fellow humans, hopefully sharing what cosmologists call "Space Bias". There are seven main protagonists each one with their own chapter - which can be read in whichever order you prefer, - two of them in present tense and the rest in past, it's all part of the story. They all have mixed backgrounds such as a Japanese father and a Taiwanese mother, a survivor of the Rwanda massacre, a Colombian with Lebanese and Portuguese ancestry, a Danish whose mother is German, a Jewish lady married to a Muslim man she met in Jerusalem, an Anglo-Indian guy inspired in a way in Orwell - character name is Arthur such as Orwell's real name, - and last but definitely not least a Turkish Muslim bisexual woman for which a Lebanese friend for work is providing help; my friend is working on her Ph.D. on gender inequality in politics, especially in countries with religious civil wars that have moved from the streets to parliament. The story's Universe - 7 trillion light-years, approximately 78 times the size of our observable universe and 252 times the size of a Hubble sphere - provides more than enough civilizations to present dystopias that can serve as warnings for the future - ideally in the style of 1984, A Brave New World, or Fahrenheit 451, - as well as utopias where we find A.E.I - Artificial Emotional Intelligence - along with futuristic ways of understanding childhood, education, and life itself.

❖2021 Watty Awards Shortlist❖ Kevin was just a normal 10 year old kid until he saw a woman vanish right before his eyes. This made Kevin just a little bit different. He paid more attention to people now. Little did he know that this little difference would kill him the next time he encountered another alien about to return home. It would tear him apart, cell by cell, until he was unmade. His mind being transported away. --- So distantly far away there is a race that advanced to the point where they built dyson spheres to house their civilizations. In their continual expansion, they seeded galaxies with pods and connection satellites. Over time they upgraded their dyson spheres into matryoshka brain Cores. Imagine a computer powered by a star. Citizens of Cores no longer age once they upload their minds into the virtual living system of the Core. While they didn't age, most still choose to cycle through life and death though at a different scale of time compared to our lives. Citizens can visit other planets and live there as if they were on a "vacation". Mercury is Earth's hub connected to the closest Core and Earth is a remote vacation spot for wealthy citizens. When the main character was 10 he witnessed a citizen returning to the Core. The story continues 10 odd years later when he again witnesses a similar situation unfolding and manages to touch the person returning to the Core. This causes him to be swept up in the transfer as well and for his mind to join as a "Guest" user of the Core. As a Guest he has limited powers, a starting balance of zero cr or Citizen credits, and no idea how he can get home. He is the first human to ever become a Guest of a Core. Where money itself is the highest form of their science.

A plane which went missing twenty six years back has suddenly come back from nowhere. Read on to find out where it was, and what happened to the passengers in the plane. The plot focuses on a family of four who were in the plane, and the chilling experiences they have after the plane went missing, their struggles for survival in a place they don't know and lots more. Readers are the motivation for writers to give bigger and better content. I humbly request everyone who read this story to kindly share your views on the story, so that I can make the upcoming parts better. I'm sure many of you would love this, because I've put a lot of hard work into thinking various sequences in this story. Also, I'm new to writing, so suggestions about grammar are most welcome. Thank you :)
