Summer Holdon is just like any other girl but does not believe in love. Her L.A. teacher tells her to write an essay about how you should love somebody. She hates the idea but she is the top writer in her class and wants to be a proffesional writer when she is older. So she will write the essay over the summer. During summer her friends take her to this thing called magcon. She meets a guy there and eventually starts to learn more about love.
