The last time Caroline saw Adam she threw her fist into his face, avenging her best friend's broken heart. The next time she meets him she has just boarded a last minute flight out of the country, and he's in the seat next to hers.
A month spent together underneath the scorching sun leaves Caroline questioning if she had been wrong about the man she used to despise. Especially, when the line between love and hate begins to blur. But in her life nothing has ever lasted for too long; why should August be any exception?
When Adam booked the trip it was with one goal in mind: To start over. Never in his wildest dreams did he consider his past would haunt him across oceans. Much less in the shape of the one woman who literally can not stand him, and makes it her mission to let him know. He has so many reasons why to stay away, yet finds himself falling anyway.
Back home, Caroline's world collapses and she does everything in her power to forget about Adam and Greece entirely. Albeit, chasing away memories proves to be near impossible when the boy in them isn't settling for fading pictures - but wants August to last forever.
