On the small island of Moresterla, there is a famous legend.
It says that about a thousand years ago. The people there believed that their king and queen were Gods on earth and at the end of their lives the queen would be called up to the past kings and queens to become a member of their council. When the queen was still on earth she was known as the goddess of life. The king was known as the god of weather and nature. The queen would be called up so if she needed to walk the earth again she could however the king would die then join the queen and the rest of the council. It said the queen held a Magical ruby that helped her control life on earth. The ruby could kill a person or bring a person back to life. When queen died the ruby past down to her daughter. The king and queen would always have a daughter.
But this legend said that the king’s brother Vangster had grown jealous of his brother and his wife and the magic ruby. So he rebelled in an attempt to get the ruby and become king and a god. He killed the king. But was too late to kill the queen she was already with the council. By the time he got to their daughter, the princess Kila, she was already the goddess of life and queen. But that didn’t stop him. He killed her and became he became king. However on his death the ruby disappeared from his neck where it had always been. Some say it returned to Kila and where she was buried. The night before Vangster was to be buried he also disappeared into thin air. Some people say he returned the council as a god. But other people say he is waiting in limbo for the princess to wake up from her sleep, to kill him and become the rightful queen of Moresterla. But she can’t wake until her love Zanenus is reborn.
