Mavis Josette Wayne goes to a prestigious boarding school in her senior year...not letting any of the pompous, rich students know she's only there on a scholarship after her parents kicked her out.

After feeling like an outcast, she meets Harry Osborn, the outcast of all outcasts at the school. Not only because of his quiet, brooding nature but because he's the richest kid there. He keeps to himself until, one day, Mavis gets the courage to talk to him.

Mavis soon finds out that there's a price for falling for the broken heir when Harry's father has a medical emergency and he has to leave...and then Spider-Man comes along.
