"What can you do as my assistant" he said with boredom as he leaned against his chair.
"I can do management" I said, as I felt self conscious and a little nervous around him. I forgot to ask his name when I entered his office, I think he might fire me before I get the job.
"Well then I might hire the fifth person who can do management" he said with sarcasm as I try to think of something else.
"I can be a janitor or a cleaner, but I would be very grateful if I was hired by you and worked in your company" I said smiling, or even laughing to hide my distaste at the choice of my words. What was I thinking, I might as well finish my mission now that it became my first priority second to my dignity.
"What?" he said with shocked expression as he tried to compose himself, maybe he was not looking for that reply. Was his name Alex, Nicole or Ryan?
" Yes Sir" I said quietly, not liking how he was looking at me.
"Well then you start tomorrow Miss?" he said curiously.
"Miss Amber" I said, proud of the name I picked.
I started to walk towards the office door when I heard him speak.
"Names Atlas, Atlas Alexander" he said smirking as he caught on to my act.
"And you start at 8am tomorrow as my personal assistant" he said, looking at me with curiosity.
'Yes Sir" I said, trying not to smile out of relief. I was out of his office and leaned against the door as I squealed out of excitement for my mission and out of relief for my choice of work. I walked out of the company building with my head held high at the first step to victory. Now the only obstacle was my curious Boss Atlas and he might ruin things for me until his curiosity is fed.
