For the Love of Alpha

I woke to the sound of the alarm going off beside my head. I look over to turn it off, it was 5:00 Saturday morning.

'Well its time to get this over with' I thought as i sat up in bed stretching. Grabbing my black silk robe and wrapping it around me i walk over to my window and open it letting the cool mountain air rush in. I love mornings like this. The air has the morning dew still resting on it. The birds are starting to chirp and the sun is just starting to tip over the tops of the mountains.

My name is Journey, I am 21 years old and i am a werewolf. I live in the Northern Pack under the command of Alpha Kilo. I come from a long line of Beta wolves including my father who was the Alpha's right hand man until his passing a little over a year ago. Now my brother Benjamin has taken my fathers position with the alpha and lives in the pack house with his mate and 2 sons. My older sister Christine met her mate at 18 years old and moved with him to his Pack in the eastern region and has a daughter of her own but I don't see her often now.
