David Goodman is an accountant who is having trouble sleeping. This problem of his has caused a separation between his wife and himself. Being alone in his house he starts to see things that are abnormal.

(18+ EXPLICIT CONTENT) "Attract a lot of attention, huh beautiful?" His voice hit me like a wall, absurdly catching me off guard. It was deep, sensual, something any girl (or boy) could melt over. I was sort of speechless, yet trying my best to appear unafflicted. "Only the wrong ones." That was definitely drunken me talking, as I didn't usually have that much confidence. His lips twitched up into a smirk, expressing that he understood my comment. "Does that mean that I'm in that category?" My palms began to grow sweaty and my heart rate picked up, but otherwise my body remained relaxed, appearing completely fine. It similar to when you're on autopilot, completely withdrawn due to intoxication. "I suppose not," I crossed my arms, putting on this seductive persona just for him. This fueled his smirk, about to murmur another comment before I cut him off. "You'll have to show me, though." *** Amelia Hollis was a 23-year-old writer at one of the local publishing companies, assisting a very handsome man and writing articles left and right. Her and her best friend, Aviary, lived together in a cute little apartment off the central part of the city, yearning to create new memories and important moments. Amelia always lived for the moments, taking in every little detail and savoring it like it was her favorite meal. She was an optimist, hoping to change peoples lives with her dreams. James Vallette was a 34-year-old CEO, building his company from dirt with the help of his brother. He was a realist, not really having time to deal with dreams or even love. He knew this the night he laid eyes on Amelia. It was only casual; what harm could a one-night stand do? Oh yeah, he's her dad's boss.Complete

A vampire struggling with anxiety, who is trying to blend in with humans and has given up on finding his mate ends up finding others of his kind in Boston. excerpt: It would seem to some a peculiar memento for an immortal to keep a journal. I have discovered that in my times of darkness the only thing that keeps me sane is daily writing. Imagine. A vampire walks into a psychologists office, lays back on the couch. The psychologist is blonde and buxom, pen and pad in hand ready to "fix or assist". "What brings you here, sir" she would say. The immortal glances over notices no ring on her finger, feeling his fangs extending brushing his bottom lip. The immortal letting out a sigh glances over at the beautiful doctor his mind reeling with what to say. The frustration in knowing that this beautiful being, who probably tastes like pure honey, is highly unqualified to deal with my issues.... Well at least in the therapy department.Complete

Dean gets a call about Bobby being in an accident, and breaking his leg. He's cleared from the hospital, but can't drive, and doesn't know anyone who can pick him up except his old friend Rufus, who's in another state, and Ellen, his wife, who's off with her daughter on a girls trip. And Dean of course. The problem? He has to leave Cas at the apartment, and the hospital is a five hour drive away. But Cas can be without him for a day right? -------- This story is part one of a series called "Leading Into Life". I highly suggest reading "Normality" before this. After finding some disturbing news involving his wife, a man wakes up in a hotel room that has everything he has ever wanted. Not knowing how he got there or where exactly it is, he begins to look for answers only to forget what he was looking for. Not wanting to leave he decides it might be the right thing to do but cant find a way out. With holes in his memory and a hole in his wall, maybe it is there where he can escape and have full recollection of what it is all about...if the hotel lets him.
