When a southern girl from Virginia moves all away across the United States for her dad's new job in California, she didn't think it could get any worse. Well at least until she got there. She had so many fears about moving. Not only would she be leaving her best friend Adina behind in Virginia but also everyone she loves. Her parents told her to think of it as a new beginning...and she hated it. She thought she wouldn't make any friends. Which she didn't for the first couple of days. Well not until a bleach blonde with teal dye in her hair ran into her at a football game, which she was forced to go to. She finds out that the girl's name is Skylar and they find out that they have lots of the same interests and find themselves growing close to each other rather quickly.
