On a hidden island a compassionate mermaid, Ariadne, saves the life of a human prince. Even though she was taught to fear humans, she becomes enamored. When her sister gives her an ultimatum she feeds him a sleeping potion that will wipe his memory.
Years pass, pieces of a shipwreck wash up on the island containing an invitation to the kingdom her prince now king rules. It won't be easy with a deadly sea snake that wishes to steal her skin following her, the king's memory of her wiped, and other princesses also vying for his heart.
