Brittney was so excited to attend Hope's peak academy, but everything goes awry when they go on an unexpected field trip. During the trip, this cute little bunny plush type creature named Usami forces them to get along and become friends. Brittney, having thalasaphobia causes her to faint, hitting the ground hard. She then meets this handsome guy named Nagito Komaeda who went to check up on her after she fainted. They got along pretty well, and may have even began to catch feelings for one another. Soon the group encounter another plush type creature that shows up out of nowhere. His name was Monokuma. Instead of getting along and being happy, he wanted everyone to kill each other in the ultimate killing game. Brittney being the hot tempered, african American girl she is doesn't put up with it, until she meets the Monobeasts. They gang then have to figure out how to get off the island, as well as find the blackened people killing their friends, and get through the class trials alive. Will they be able to do it?

Hajime Hinata wasn't expecting much when he won the lottery to attend Hope's Peak Academy. The only reason he applied was so he could guarantee scholarship money to go to the same university as his childhood friend Chiaki. Being an average student, he didn't think he would make much of an impact on his classmates or even the school as a whole. However, after returning one of Gundham's Dark Deva's of Destruction, he opened the door to become one of the school's hosts in the café, or Ultimates as they're more well known. When he decides to join the Ultimate Club, he gets to know those working in the café, but there's only one person he wants to get to know better: Nagito Komaeda. Luckily, it seems Nagito wants to get to know him better, too, but Hajime is too afraid to make his move. Hopefully Nagito will be coax his way into Hajime's heart. Although he's with kids from school and would most likely get along with them...he feels a strange awkwardness when around them. There's a catch though, Hajime isn't really like the others; he doesn't have an ultimate. Because of that, he thinks the others might look down on him. But there is one student that looks down on him the most, Nagito Komaeda: the ultimate lucky student. He believes since Hajime doesn't have a talent, he's not valid like everyone else and decides to put him down for something he can't control. Hajime just wants to be friends with everyone, but because this inconvenience he's very insecure about being around the others, and distances himself. Then Kazuichi Souda and Chiaki Nanami decide to include him since they feel bad, they just want him to be happy. Hajime starts to open up a bit after hanging out with them a lot, maybe with this new confidence he can get that one stubborn student to finally like him.
