Tiffany Thornton lives on a small island off the coast of North Carolina. The town is separated between the upper class and the lower class, Kooks vs. Pogues. Tiffany and her brother Topper are part of one of the most wealthy families on the island. Her life was perfect. She was a bubble wrap princess, until one day when she falls head over heels for the cute blonde pogue boy who cleans her pool. He falls for her too and the two of them are suddenly wrapped up in the most dangerous and exciting adventure of their lives.

Rafe is patient with her and good to her, but he still has anger issues that only Aribella can soothe. Aribella still has an obsessive ex boyfriend who will resort to violence if he doesn't feel heard. Rafe and Aribella fight for their love as their friends protest and their hearts defy logic. But things may start to stand in their way as the pogues uncover secrets about the Cameron family. Will they be strong enough to stay together?

This made me laugh a little as I watched him try to unwrap a alcohol wipe with the cutest concentration face ever. "What?" He asked looking at me. "Nothing." I said smiling to myself.
