Eighteen years ago, Logan and Patton Croft's lives were... well, they weren't good.

Within the span of a few months, the summer of XX28, Patton killed ten people and lost his brother after his ex-boyfriend went and stabbed him in the neck. Logan found out, and then Patton was told of all that Logan had done and who he himself had murdered back in XX18.

Of course, now? That ex-boyfriend was long dead, a knife plunged into his gut, Patton only being left with a bad shoulder and half-fluency in American Sign Language to deal with his Deaf ear. That was all eighteen years ago. The couple had a son now, and their past was truly in the past.

But when their soon-to-be seventeen year old son learns about a certain Remy Cafe- a serial killer that lived in their town eighteen years ago- in school, how long is it until everything else that happened before he was born is revealed to him? And what happens when he meets the ghost that had been on his mind one foggy night on the side of the road?

But... no, that wouldn't happen. Ghosts aren't real, and Joe Croft was meant to remain in the shadows about his parent's screwed up life forever.

Well, that last part wouldn't be a lie if his long dead uncle had never gotten involved- but let's just say this uncle may not be exactly who you think he is...

From your face down to you're gender, it was all concealed. It was all cloaked. But all this changed once they found you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male. Corporal Levi was humanities strongest though, he couldn't like you, could he? He couldn't... At first it seemed strange but pleasant to finally get noticed, but soon you realized, nothing good came from the Corporal. In fact, your life seemed to turn into a living Dystopia. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works. And I'm also the owner of the many side and minor background characters that may or may not get names.
