Of course, now? That ex-boyfriend was long dead, a knife plunged into his gut, Patton only being left with a bad shoulder and half-fluency in American Sign Language to deal with his Deaf ear. That was all eighteen years ago. The couple had a son now, and their past was truly in the past.

But when their soon-to-be seventeen year old son learns about a certain Remy Cafe- a serial killer that lived in their town eighteen years ago- in school, how long is it until everything else that happened before he was born is revealed to him? And what happens when he meets the ghost that had been on his mind one foggy night on the side of the road?

But... no, that wouldn't happen. Ghosts aren't real, and Joe Croft was meant to remain in the shadows about his parent's screwed up life forever.
