Five years after the war, Pansy Parkinson likes to believe she has changed. Having transformed her outlook on life and friendships, she wants to believe she no longer cares for him. She knows she is a different person, a better person without him in her life. But when he shows up unexpectedly five years after the defeat of Voldemort, she is forced to relive some of the most traumatic events of her life. Events and pain that occurred to her and that she caused. Events that she wishes would not have happened, and actions she wishes she would have turned away from. She is forced to accept the reality that despite having grown and changed, it wouldn't have happened had he stayed in her life. And she is forced to accept that it was never her choice to be rid of him. She is forced to accept that he was never hers, or rather, she was never his.

First and new fanfiction! I have been reading Dramione fics for a while and it made me wonder how Pansy's and Draco's relationship changed after the war. There will be some mature content so please read with that in mind.
