A story following the 'What If'. What if before they were famous, they knew each other. Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks became best friends in 1964 when the Nicks family moved to Gainesville Florida across the street from the Petty Family. Fast forward to summer  1969 & things changed for the better when secret feels were confessed by the inseprable friends. Story follows the loving relationship between Tom and Stevie as they follow dreams and grow together.  Tom loves playing guitar & singing, his girlfriend Stevie loves to sing, but feels she's not any good. Tom loves his girl more than anything and she'd follow him to the moon.

Starts in 1969, skips to 1970 for two chapters and then jumps to 1975 were the story continues.

When The Heart Breakers are formed in 1975 Tom might actually get his big break, but he would want his girl by his side every step of the way. (And his family)All Rights Reserved

This story touches on all of their decades together and what might become of these two star-crossed lovers. This story took on a life of its own and is much longer than I'd originally imagined it would be. That said, it's for the die-hard Buckingham Nicks fans since it is a bit of a time commitment. However, it does not tell the story of Stevie Nicks shooting daggers with her eyes across the stage to her former lover Lindsey Buckingham it focuses on the second couple sharing the stage with them. This story focuses on Christine and John McVie. As we all know their marriage was very much in debris by 1975 and eventually ended in divorce in 1978. My little fic here is all about 'What if not?' What if they had found a way to pull themselves together and made it work, continuing to stay the couple they never could be? This story also brings forth a character that could be all of us, and you might find a little bit of yourself in her. This story is obviously based on real life human beings that actually existed and still exist. This story however, although based on true events, is purely fictitious. While I did try my best to stay true to the real life characteristics of the people I'm writing about all the events described here have been conjured up by me and are not in any way real. Some characters in this story are not real either and purely a figment of my imagination. Presents appear in her locker, her dad gets back from deployment with a companion she was certain was not breathing and then a gift bag which Smoke doesn't react to which makes her suspicious. With your mum being trained as a bomb dog handler that's natural right? Even her dad is in on the plan. Will Dustin leave with the heart he's always wanted or will he get turned away again?
