The year is 2020, CoVid doesn't exist and the Italian-American Mafia is still running on money laundering and drug selling, some human trafficking, but mostly on claims of land and numbers.
Aria Staton, adopted daughter of Charlie and Carol Staton. Charlie owns a speakeasy bar that's also a strip club but it's really VIP. Carol knows what business Charlie's in but doesn't speak about it/doesn't get involved. Charlie's not that involved anyways, his bar is often a meeting place between gangs/mafias. It's a solid neutral ground, though some of his bartenders pick up intel for the top dog mafia, the Sapphire Bells. Carol herself owns a cafe a few stores down, each place has a home above, though the Statons officially live above the cafe, while Charlie uses the space above his speakeasy as the offices, and more private meeting places.
