A war between the living and dead rages within the land of Wallachia. Death is found in any town and city you enter, all brought about by the townsfolk of Targoviste killing one woman.

You left your hometown of Targoviste after you discovered the town's plans for celebrating the death of Lisa Tepes in search of a better life away from such monsters, only to find yourself mixed into a group with a monster fighting drunk, a snappy and brave Speaker magician, and a strikingly gorgeous half vampire, and the son of the very man you all sought to kill.

This is your story in the Romanian region of Wallachia in the year 1476, following the Netflix adaptation of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, spurred on completely by me rewatching the show for the millionth time. As a disclaimer of sorts, this will probably turn into a story with Alucard as a love interest because they really do him dirty over at Netflix so if that isn't your cup of tea, feel free to skip out of reading this! It wasn't long before only a few cities were left amongst the chaos. Meanwhile you had only heard stories of what had happened. You lived alone, the only human contact you had was with the occasional traveler. The only company you had was a large hound names Buttons, but other then him there was no one. The demons never bothered you since you had been plagued with lycanthropy, meaning you were no longer mortal. You could of easily let the world perish, but you had liked this world. You had once been human and your sympathy went out to those dealing with the demons night and day. With your abilities, you knew that you could make a significant difference for the human race. Eventually you left your small home with your dog and your bow, heading for the nearest city Gresit to go back to your old life as a mercenary.

Amused. Amused would be the one word Alucard would use to sum up his entire interaction with this town tonight. The ancient vampire couldn't even contain his grin at this point as he watched the lesser scum of a supposed vampire squirm under his gaze. This women had intrigued him, not only had she managed to brutally dispatch of not one but three of the flesh hungry ghouls that had surrounded her. He had watched her struggle with the over whelming fear and win the fight against instinct. And now as the disgusting blood sucker that held her delicate throat described all the heinous acts he planned on acting out with her once he dispatched of him. He watched as she formulated a plan. His grin threatened to split his face in two as he watched her body relax , he found himself having a hard time to contain his excitement. He darted his crimson eyes back to the vampire who was still spewing filth from his vile mouth. "What makes you think your walking out of here alive?"
