He turned his attention to the curtain, and Charlie started slowly moving closer. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." Dave said, his eyes still focused on the curtain. "I could break this kids neck right here and now." Charlie stopped at the words. She could tell he wasn't lying. She backed off. "Don't hurt him."
