this book is about a girl called Lily who gets turned into a vampire and disappears from her brother who goes looking for her but doesn't know what to do because she has never felt this hunger for blood before so she tries to see if she can find anyone else that is like her but another vampire called Alex finds her and tries to help her control her impulses and help her with everything that is needed to hide as a vampire in a normal world but Alex takes Lily to his clan where the other vampire don't like Lily but Alex protects her but the question is why does he protect her? Her brother wonders what is wrong with his sister Lily.
