When Dean Winchester finds a distressed boy sitting on his curb, he doesn't expect to find friendship in this odd, blue-eyed boy. It's summer, 2008, and characters from SPN befriend one another and experience the thrill of childhood.

Everything isn't smooth sailing for the unlikely friends, the upheaval of the Winchester's drunkard father, paired with the Novaks overbearing mother puts many bumps in the road.

However, when they are with one another, it's an escape. From family, from reality, and from the daunting thought of growing up. Together, they create a bucket list, of all the thrilling, dangerous and downright impossible things they want to do. And the deal is sealed with a promise, that no matter where life takes them, they will complete the list.

They become closer than family. And certain individuals seem to become closer than just friends, but when disaster strikes and the Winchesters are moved to foster care, a newly found family is broken.

Can they return to one another and keep the promise, or as they age, will the summer they shared be simply forgotten.
