Life has been treating the Ninja well ever since their last boss fight, and most of them are thinking of finally settling down. However, settling down into a normal life is never as easy as one might assume.

Join the Ninja as some are finally able to have enough time to actually go on a date with their partner, others figure out how in the world they are going they are going to wait FOR TWO YEARS until their significant other comes back from their perilous vacation, or how they're going to have to deal with stubborn children who turned out both remarkably like them and completely different at the same time.

As a fluffy sequel to Departed, 'How I Met You' not only serves to shine light onto some of the questions raised in its preceding novel, but also continues the story into the Ninja's very hectic love lives afterward.
