Based after How To Train Your Dragon: Hidden World and during the new Netflix series Rescue Riders. ------------------------------------------------------------ Since the dragons left Berk to live in the Hidden World, Hiccup had been missing Toothless desperately. Same would be said for Toothless. He missed his best friend. Besides from that, everything was going great for the both of them. They had started families with their lovers, Toothless was going good as the Alpha/King dragon and Hiccup was performing his duties as the Chief of Berk very well. But despite their lives being close to perfect, neither of them could shake the feeling of missing each other. So Astrid came up with an idea. Their dinosaurs and genetic experiments became the subject the subject of harsh criticism levied against them. When information about the 1993 incident and Isla Nublar was leaked, all hell broke loose. Public panic was centered around the potential of another dinosaur attack. InGen had to react before politicians began to investigate further. A story was fabricated stating the Costa Rican government fire bombed Isla Nublar, they pulled some strings to get the islands restricted, and managed to quell the outrage. Life returned to normal. People avoided the islands, afraid of what monsters lurked upon their shores, but it was only a matter of time before powerful individuals began to see the island as a potential gold mine. I wanted to rewrite the story because I missed out on a lot of things I wanted to explain better, not have as many plot holes, and make it to where Neo used his Muto powers more.
