Kiara's story is well um... complicated. the last thing she remembers is chaos and burning and death, death of her neighbors and friends, but the most heartbreaking out of all of them was her parents. Her mom and dad were kind souls who were trying to get people off the ship and to safety, but at the cost of their lives. Kiara watched them burn as the ship burned with them. She remembers trying to get to her brother, but a wave hit the ship and she fell over board. Now she has no idea who she is in society or even what her home looks like. She washed ashore of a land that is unknown to her called, Catona. There she meets her best friend and her devilishly handsome brother (who also happens to be kind of a jerk), Princess Alyssa and Prince Daniel.

Daniel's story is of a snobby prince who grows up in a castle and gets everything he wants, well not everything. What he wants more than anything is a family who actually loves him. His sister is the favorite of the family but she doesn't ever see it. He never shares his feelings, well not until he meets Kiara. Then the castle gets attacked by the enemies and Alyssa goes missing. He must find a way to work with Kiara or all will be doomed.
