Percy was wondering the streets of New York one August evening, having left camp a few weeks earlier to go see his dad. He was finally going to start college in September and major in the Arts and in Marine Biology. He and Annabeth had broken up sometime during the summer, around the end of June. Percy and her were having complications in the relationship, and the trauma was a little to much; plus, they both wanted to focus on other things, like Percy wanting to explore his sexuality.

Percy was walking by an alleyway on the way to a nice café he had seen the other day, when he smelt some monsters; having recognized it from the years of being a demigod, now having been doing this for about 8 or 9 years- and the week of being in tartarus. He pulled out his trusty pen, riptide, keeping the cap on for now; then walked deeper into the alleyway, hearing multiple growls from hellhounds and a slight hissing noise from one or two empousa. He dealt with them quickly, but not before getting a couple wounds on his arms and torso- and a blow to the head. He was littered in the horrible golden monster glitter that they left, he leaned against the alley wall, wincing. He glanced at the entrance and saw a group of young adults running towards him in the light from the lamp-post that littered the New York streets, noticing the three brunettes, a blonde, and a red-head with a orangish tent to her hair. His sword clanged against the ground as it fell out of his hand, the celestial bronze giving off a glow in the dark alley. He slid down the wall, his hand resting on a deep wound on his side. His vision starting blacking out as the voices of the group got closer and muffled.

Soon, he let out a pained moan and his eyes fluttered closed as he drifted off unconscious...

Or when, Icarus falls in love with the Sun, for the final time. *✧・゚: *✧・゚: Percy Jackson x FemOC (The Lighting Thief - The Last Olympian) (Book 1 of 3 in the Divine Series) Started: 12/24/2023 Ended: In Progress *✧・゚: *✧・゚: Icaria Kane's body was exhausted. She had pushed herself past her breaking point, and still continued on as if nothing was wrong. The demigod knew if she allowed herself time to take even a moment, her soul would physically crack in two. Now was not the time for weakness, if anything, she had to be stronger. She knew the other girls would mumble about her, but Icaria wouldn't listen to them. She refused to watch someone she loved fall at the hands of Thanatos again. If need be, she would offer herself to him in place. Yet, there was someone who noticed the young girl breaking apart. She could see the bags grow darker, and watched as Icaria began to eat less and less. It was the same someone who had saved Icaria all those years ago. And the goddess refused to watch that someone suffer any longer. The goddess, Artemis, stepped out of her tent in the early morning light. All of her girls were getting rest, taking the opportunity to relax with the very few days of peace they had left. All except one. In the distance, the goddess could hear the distinct sound of metal striking against wood. She took quiet steps, and watched Icaria Kane from a distance. The girl breathed heavily, her body slumped from exhaustion. "Icaria?" Artemis asked, stepping through the early morning fog. "Why do you cry?" The demigods body tightened, urging the tears to stop falling. She turned her body away from her goddess, clutching Hearth in her hands.

FORMERLY KNOWN AS: The Son of Hermes and the Daughter of Nike **NOTE**: This story is OC x Canon. Pairing is OC x Luke Castellan. Please note, I own nothing in the Riordanverse. All rights go to Rick Riordan, this is simply for fun and fanfiction Mature themes will be turned on for this book, only because fighting and insinuations in later on chapters. This story is basically Percy Jackson, through another demigod's eyes. This book will take place before during and after the first series. What if Luke had met someone a couple years before he ever met Thalia and Annabeth? What if he and this someone had grown to care for each other in a short amount of time, only to be lost to one another due to a family matter? What if Luke and this certain someone reunited years later in an unexpected way? Meet Cameron Allen. Before Percy Jackson came to camp, she arrived. Cameron is the daughter of Nike, and mortal man, Bartholomew Allen (yes, she has heard every joke in the book- on top of that, her dad is a CSI too). Cameron is taken to Camp Half Blood the day after she turns fourteen. Her father wanted her to stay home, and not worry about a warrior life, but the will of the gods said otherwise. Little does Cam know, she has an unexpected surprise waiting for her at camp. She's destined for failure. An Irony for her. Cameron is riddled with anxiety for years after receiving her prophecy. Thanks to Luke, Annabeth, the Stoll brothers and her family, Cameron manages to keep her head on as straight as possible, at least until Percy gets to camp. This is the narrative of a demigod that once asked to be written out of history. Here's her story.
