Thalia Malfoy was a mistake, according to her father and grandfather.
The first female Malfoy to be born in almost a decade, she was significantly different from her family, her dark hair standing out in the monochrome of her pale family portrait.
Expectations and responsibilities piled on top of her until she drowned, but all she showed the outside world was a cold smile. The one that seemed to imply that her life was perfect (when it was jagged and falling apart).
She built a fortress around herself.
But a certain green eyed boy with a penchant for adventure and near death situations crashed into her fortress's walls.
