In the year of 2556, It is a dark time. The UNSC has been betrayed and has lost some of it's greatest warships to a new Covenant armada, and it's up to the newly formed Fireteam Belligerent to take it down and avenge the fallen.

The war with the covenant has driven humanity to the brink of extinction, the outer colony's have been glassed and the UNSC navy has been reduced to a fraction of what it once was. But there was hope, with the discovery of a forerunner relic that could turn ships into men with the full power of the ships themselves. This lead to the creation of several ships, one of them being the UNSC S/N. 2560, a ring like structure has been found in uncharted space by a human exploration ship. They reported the structure as, "A giant ring, with what looks like an Earth like surface, with water, mountains, and grass, with the outside gray frame pulsating with blue lights." The UNSC traced the signal to unknown coordinates, and are enroute to establish contact, as they believe the ring structure to be a Halo ring.
