Every time my grandmother finished a story, I'd always ask: "Are your stories about Calares real, Grandma?" 

And every time I asked that, she'd always reply with her gray eyes sparkling, as if holding a big secret: "It depends on you, Klein."

When Klein Powers' mother suddenly disappeared without a trace, she believed that some unearthly reason was behind it. 

After ten months, a sudden turn of event happens when Klein falls into the Central Park Lake, which magically transports her to Calares-the same world Klein's grandmother told her about when she was six years old, and the world that may hold the answer to her mother's disappearance. 

According to the Legendary Seer, a group called The Destroyers are trying to awaken the dark forces that have been locked away for centuries in order to conquer Calares, and Klein, who is predicted to be the Savior, is the only one who can thwart their evil plans.

Klein, with her new friends, must embark on a journey to discover more about The Destroyers and stop them before it's too late.
