after abandoning his dreams of becoming a racer, izuku midoriya rents an apartment with hitoshi shinsou, an underground racer and puts himself to work at a bookstore. when his roommate lets it slip that he races and eventually convinces midoriya to come along with, everything slowly begins to change whether it be for better or for worse.

midoriya finds himself tangled up in underground racing, something he doesn't really like. after an encounter with shoto todoroki, he begins to think that maybe it isn't all that bad.
