The story begins with a young naïve women by the name of Lathen Brown. Lathen decided to pursue her passion of singing by transferring to a L.A. Records College in Los Angeles, California. Moving away from her small town in Minnesota to busy LA hasn't been the best to her, but it's until one night after walking home from the studio, she notices a broke down car on the side of the road. It was then, her whole life would be impacted forever.
By the chance of fate, Lathen meets no other then the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Jackson feeling love at first sight while Lathen, who's never had a boyfriend in her life, struggles to open up to Michael and his lifestyle.
