Eight complete strangers wake up in an abandoned hospital room with no recollection of who they are, where they came from, or how they ended up in this run down place. All they know is that something is horribly wrong, and they each have a nagging sensation that they MUST get out of this hospital before they all die. The only problem is, they don't remember anything, and they keep encountering strange creatures, more confused people, and a horrific towering being that other survivors have only referred to as,... "The Mortician". Will they get out? will they live? or should they stand their ground and fight the inevitable?
All they know is right now their only chance for survival is to... RUN.

They Came from the Trees

The two spend time together in hiding along with a couple of kids who have strange ideas about the intentions of the alien invasion. The group is soon picked up by some edgy teenagers who have hot-wired an old school bus, and are preparing to escape to the water. However, when Cara surrenders herself, Sheldon learns about the horrifying yet curious vision of these rapidly evolving aliens. The lovestruck teen soon questions the morality of the human spirit, and wonders what it might be like to submit to the utopian idealisms of this new alien race. **WARNING** - this story may seem 'gentle' in the beginning, but it can get a little disturbing and there is some mature content. It has been five years since the Nrac Imperium invaded the worlds of the Terran Sovereignty, kicking off the First Contact War. The ensuing conflict was long and bloody, leaving both sides broken and bruised, but in the end, humanity was able to force the nrac into a retreat thanks to the valiant efforts of their Soldier Caste. But even after a year of peace, many still suffer in the aftermath. As humanity picks up the pieces, the nrac quietly rebuild their fleet in a distant star system. Unbeknownst to the terrans, the nrac have long occupied the forgotten world of Renatus, tyrannically ruling over its technologically inferior human inhabitants for nearly a decade. When a group of terran soldiers ends up stranded on Renatus due to a reconnaissance mission gone wrong, they set in motion a chain of events that will ignite the spark of revolution and change the galaxy forever.

The Touch of Infection
Carisa's been running for her life the past two years. Loosing her loved ones and anyone she grows close to. The apocalypse was caused by an alien raise coming to earth and proclaiming they'll fix the planet. Their way to 'fix' it being destroying humanity with a plague. However they didn't expect the human body to be as persistent as it is, the infection they spread mutating and making humans reanimate with a hunger for flesh. They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry.
