Sanghyeok's rage grew as the men took away the old woman's money, leaving her sobbing amongst the ruined crops.
"Hey!" he shouted before charging towards one of them with a blade he kept in his shoe hence stabbing the man with it. The other was straining with Sanghyeok, only to deal more damage to his friend bleeding to death. He backed away a little before the other man charged towards him with a knife causing Sanghyeok to run for his life. The tall maize quickly lost the man's sight of Sanghyeok who then proceeded to snuck up behind the man with a pitchfork before he turned and pierced himself through the fangs of fhe fork.
Sanghyeok looked at the bleeding body, recovering the small pouch of gold that belonged to the woman as he fled the scene. When he met the old lady at her cottage again, 18-year old Sanghyeok found the girl - whom he heard to be the bearer of the Golden Hibiscus.

Hey guys, it's Minkyung here, hope y'all liked the preview. I'm so glad to be initiating this collaboration project with @gal044 (Twitter). I fell in love with her T1 Rebellion comic and I decided to rewrite the story and make it's own book. The book wouldn't be long (or thick..?) since it'll take a few chapters, but nonetheless I hope you guys enjoyed the book.
