Elliot is a senior at Ridgewood High School who lives in an abusive home where he is forced to hide his true self by his alcoholic father. When Elliot gets a job at Kestis Café he meets an attractive young man named Dwight. Dwight is a college student who is just slowly trying to get by and not ruin his life. Soon things change massively for the both of them when they start to fall for each other, but things are not what they may seem. With both Elliot and Dwight having to face many challenges in their life, will their love prosper? Or will their love shatter like a broken vase.

Or at least during the first semester, I have not seen either of them in the library during 7th period since the start of second semester. They are not dating in real life, or at least not to my knowledge. The characters, social media accounts, and addresses are fictional, but every place in this book is real. I also used accurate dates. I know Logan and Dallas's real names, and their actual grades, but I will not be revealing them for their privacy. He's also an orphan, and he's been bouncing around foster homes since he was about 11. In all of them, he's been abused, one way or another. He's been in about 7 different homes by now, and his current one doesn't seeeem so bad. But you never know. He's 14, and and has been jumped ahead a few years in school. He will face many struggles along the way, but he will rise up above them to take his shot. And one day, he will blow us all away.
