The Amorphous beings were a forgotten part of civilization. They were peaceful creatures, whose powers had merged with creation allowing them the same magic. Only a few could live for the many to prosper. They were necessary in the development of the first settlements, until they were driven out by the Novullum, the first group of people who wished to be the leaders of their settlements. The Novullum became kings by force and shed much blood, but they never knew how the power of creation merged with their settlements and people. Fast forward a thousand years later, and ordinary people have forgotten the Amorphous, but they were still being persecuted by the kings of their time.
