p.s This is a Star Wars fanfiction that takes place after TROS with minor alterations and essentially what I'd do to take the story further and explore potential story arcs. This is primarily a Damerey fanfiction but I wanted to build up the rest of the characters. Some characters that were introduced in the movie may not appear here.

The Resistance won but it was far from over. They still had a lot of work to do to recoup what they had lost. The only known remaining Jedi severely injured, leaving everyone to question whether it is truly the end of the Jedi. Poe Dameron struggles to live up to the leader Leia once was and Finn makes a decision that will have an impact on his life.

My earliest memory is pain. Pain of losing a mother, pain of losing the love of a father, pain from the isolation that happened after the incident. I am reminded by others that what happened on that day was an accident and it wasn't my fault, but deep down I know what truly happened and so does my father and brothers. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version.
