Is It Fate?

Its been 2 months since Neyomi lost her brother to Covid19. They had been on their own since their parents died in a car crash back in early 2018. Since Covid, she has been working as a security officer, working doubles and picking up extra shifts to pay for all the bills she fell behind on and to keep herself from mourning. Through all the stress and unresolved emotions, one night she is drank so much, it brought her to tears and she decides to join her parents and younger brother. But before she could complete that action, she passes out drunk with the knife in her hand. As she dreams, she is in a place that is unknown to her with people she is unfamiliar with but, what stands out the most is the smile she see's before waking up. For weeks, she continues to have the same dream, always ending with the same smile, and although she can never make out the face, she knows its a man...."who is this? And why is he in my dreams?"
