He called for his friends to help him but they weren't there and when he deals with unexpected tragedy, he goes on a journey that will change his life. Vera isn't too fond of their new guardian, but he allows them to use their ninja training whenever they want so she didn't complain much. However, when Vera is ordered to destroy three power rangers who are said to be 'protecting' Watanabe, she begins to change her mind about trusting Lothor, which creates a rift between her and her brothers.
