You never wanted to climb any mountain. You know it wouldn't solve anything in your stupid, horrid mess of a life. You knew that the mountain wouldn't just blow your problems away into the wind. It was stupid. You could never change yourself though a mountain by climbing it. You couldn't even understand yourself.

(Okay legit, I have searched up celeste fics on Wattpad and I swear to god I have not found a SINGLE ONE. WHAT. I was so angry, that I took matters into my own hands, so I guess this is the first Celeste fic on this website? Idk. Also, a bunch of spoilers for Celeste, and I might change some things that don't really follow along with the original plot in the game, so heed the warning. I might also ship Madeline and Badeline a bit, but I won't really get too deep into all that stuff, I'm more focused on the emotions.)

Voices speaking intelligible words. Colors of black, blue, white and teal flashing through your mind. You could only remember one thing clearly, and that was pain. Hell, you didn't even remember your own name. You opened your bloodshot eyes to a bright light. A few pillars here and there, stalagmites hanging dangerously from the endless 'ceiling' above. This place is so familiar, you dont know why. It sends a chill down your spine as you think about what comes next. You sit up. You feel the soft embrace of the buttercups beneath your cold hands. It was strange, though. You had a thick, fluffy sweater on with matching fluffy PJ's but you were still freezing cold. You decided to explore. There was a hallway in the distance. You walked towards it, a door is seen clearer at the end of the hallway. You walk faster. You reach the 10-foot tall doorway. (Y/N). A peculiar soul; A human core, with a skeleton's power. Her parents are ashamed of her, beating her every time they catch her using magic. One day, she accidentally hurts someone, and they bring her almost to the point of death, trapping her in her room. After the incident, time has begun to reset. Two months pass, and then it all starts over again. After two months, she's plunged into immediate pain and suffering. When she feels like she just can't take it anymore, she decides to take her own life as a sort of experiment. Y/N blasts through the wall, making her way to the chasm, where she hurls herself in.. And wakes up. Almost immediately, she's met with a threat, coming from a flower, no less. She deduces that this must be an evil sort of hell for people like her. People with magic. Her opinion is only further confirmed when she meets a skeleton who wants to kill her for existing. When Sans finds her, he's immediately confused. The absence of Frisk only adds to the confusion. Maybe this human can remember the resets. Maybe she hurt the kid because she wanted to be the most determined. Maybe this is the demon. Without fully understanding (Y/N)'s backstory, he goes after this anomaly in the timeline. He eventually decides that she isn't that bad after all; Just another depressed soul, not unlike himself. The two hit it off, their personalities obviously compatible. But what happens when one of them feels something more? And what happens when an old rival returns? HEADS UP: I really hate when, like, half the story or the whole sequel is full of pure fluff. Once (Y/N) and Sans get together, there will still be relationship drama and story drama and such. ALSO! This story is ongoing. It will have errors. Updates will occur every 2 days, and I won't edit them. Edit: OK. SO. The first few chapters are NOT a good representation of my skills.
