The two kingdoms of fae have been at war for a century, the Solas kingdom against the Dorcha kingdom. The past 100 years have been a gruesome battle of fae wielding the powers of their ancestors; the Solas kingdom utilizing their ability to control fire while the Dorcha kingdom wields powers of water manipulation.

With the talk of a peace treaty from the Dorcha kingdom's high court, a bright future seems to be ahead. What will transpire when a marital union between the King and Queen becomes the only means of peace between these two divided kingdoms? With the queen of the Dorcha kingdom having differing thoughts on the matter of a peace treaty and a marital union, will the kingdoms ever find peace? Will harmony spread throughout the land once again or will this war continue to wage for more years to come and take even more lives?

A retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth, a story of fate, the struggle for power, and love found in the most unexpected places. ***** Persephone has been raised in Olympus all her life - her mother absent, her father a cruel king, with her siblings teaching her all they know. She has seen all of what the gods and goddesses do and she is sick of it. When she learns her safety is threatened by staying in Olympus, she flees to the Underworld. There she stays until she learns that her leaving has caused the world to wilt. But leaving behind her newfound friends and Lady of the Underworld is something she will not do willingly, no matter the consequences.
