27-year-old Scarlett Diaz is a well known best selling author, who's always been a bit of an introvert. She was always known as the quiet nerd that was nice to everyone throughout high school and college. Well everyone except Giovanni Moretti that is.

Giovanni Moretti is a 28-year-old Italian billionaire and the middle son of the Moretti family. He's also Scarlett's "enemy" as she puts it. For him, it's more of a Teasing relationship where the tension is so thick that you could cut it with a clever and still not get through it.

They used to unwillingly spend loads of time together seeing as they were neighbors and their families were and still are the best of friends. They haven't seen each other in years since they both graduated high school. Seeing as Giovanni traveled abroad to Italy and started his business after college.
