Her purpose was to protect; protect the ones she had come to consider family.

She hadn't planned on even becoming a soldier in the first place, but life has always had an odd way of doing things. Graduating as the 104th's strongest trainee at 20 years old, [Y/N] [L/N] did wonder how she managed to end up caring for a bunch of reckless teenagers. Either way, what mattered most now was to keep them safe, but most importantly, happy. 

After she joined the survey corps, the higher-ups quickly approached her to see her potential as a future squad leader. To everyone's surprise though, she managed to get friendly with them pretty quickly; so much so that she unconsciously made both of the strongest veterans question their respective purposes.
