Skylar had a mostly normal life, unless she counted the male voice in her head. All her life she's heard HIS voice. She knows it's not normal but she doesn't want it to go away, even when her parents worry about her and the kids at school call her a freak. Only her best friend Rephaim treats her normal even though he constantly questions her about it. She always tell him about the voice, but vaguely. How could she tell her best friend that the voice in her head tells her he likes to kill and is a fae? She couldn't. What was the harm in not telling him anyway? The voice wasn't real and neither were fae. Authors note: In progress!!!!! This book will be a romance novel with mature content. Soulbond has 3 chapters right now as I'm righting another book called Prey at the same time, but since I thought about this book a lot and the plot and know how it ends I definitely will write more chapters in a couple of days.

Skylar pledged her life to protect her homeland, but she didn't expect that she would have to resort to marrying the king's brother and using her wits instead of a sword. ***** Skylar is not a typical noble lady. Captain to her own company, she feels more at home with a sword in hand than in the ballroom. Her whole life gets turned upside down when she is forced to marry Lord General Gawyn Gryphonheart for the alliance. The vicious political machinations will be the least of her problems because a far darker threat is looming in the east. Skylar, with her fighting experience, might be the only one who sees it coming. If only her husband trusted her enough to heed her advice. Can she fulfil her role as a graceful and obedient wife at the royal court and convince the noble families to unite against the monsters believed to be merely a legend?
