Mutual divorce is a civil separating procedure, where both husband and wife are called to divorce with mutual consent and decide to part by themselves after marriage. Both husband and wife can, by mutual consent, apply for divorce.
The spouse's prior acceptance of the contested divorce or divorce without mutual consent shall be filed (husband or wife). Cruelty, adultery, desertion, transmission, psychiatric illness, transmittible cancer, death expectation or worldwide renouncement are general grounds for making such a divorce petition.
