In my poetry class, every Wednesday we have 'writing day', where we just spend the entire class writing in our poetry/prose journals. My teacher would always put topics on the board to get our minds going. He'd write a new topic every few minutes are so. There were things like "love's first kiss", "the smell of rain", "revenge". However, the last topic he wrote was "Smelly feet", which led me to inspiration for this short satirical poem. (:All Rights Reserved
