Uniformity. That's what Joja demanded of their employees and that's what was slowly eating away at Mey and Isa. Trapped in a 9-5 desk job for over five years they had little hope for their future until an opportunity like no others lands in their lap. A farm, left to them by the man they had come to consider their grandfather before his unfortunate passing.
Unable to pass up the opportunity despite the many risks associated they set off for Pelican Town, for a farm they don't know how to manage, a house they have never seen before, in a town filled with people they don't know. It will be hard work, but the possibility of friendship, love, happiness and a simple life is worth it.

Steph is a 21-year-old who freshly got out of a three-year bachelor's program in International Business. She moves from her home to Zuzu City with the expectation of getting a good-paying job, but her studies end up being useless and she gets stuck working for Joja with a salary just barely over minimum wage. Somewhere along the lines, she meets wonderful and less wonderful people, among which lies Alex, the stunning gridball player who's not sure what to say or do all the time, but always knows how to make up for his mistakes. Little does everybody know, Steph is actually transgender. This story covers one's way through navigating what for others is a confusing time but for Stephanie, just a thing she has to do to achieve her happiness. Throughout the story, there is an evolution in regard to the pronouns used to refer to the main character that I hope people don't perceive as offensive. This fanfiction tells my story, the way I experienced gender dysphoria which is much diminished in comparison to others on the same spectrum.
