Uniformity. That's what Joja demanded of their employees and that's what was slowly eating away at Mey and Isa. Trapped in a 9-5 desk job for over five years they had little hope for their future until an opportunity like no others lands in their lap. A farm, left to them by the man they had come to consider their grandfather before his unfortunate passing. Unable to pass up the opportunity despite the many risks associated they set off for Pelican Town, for a farm they don't know how to manage, a house they have never seen before, in a town filled with people they don't know. It will be hard work, but the possibility of friendship, love, happiness and a simple life is worth it.

This is a fanfic between the farmer Maeve and Sebastian. A disillusioned city girl seeking a fresh start in the quiet town of Stardew Valley. Inheriting her grandfather's long-neglected farm, she hopes to rebuild both the land and herself. But small-town life isn't as simple as she imagined-between rekindling old family ties, navigating the tangled emotions of newfound friendships, and facing the ghosts of her past, Maeve finds herself drawn to the enigmatic and brooding Sebastian. As they both struggle with their own scars, a slow-blooming connection threatens to change everything Maeve thought she knew about loneliness, love, and the meaning of home. Will she find solace in the rain, or is she destined to remain adrift in the storm?
