A hunting party, consisting of ten experienced vampire hunters, is found dead in the woods outside of a small hunting village called Avan. Anthony, son of Avan's head hunter, Gabriel, is assigned to the task of finding out the group's killer. After awhile Anthony starts to suspect his friend Desmond, a mysterious man with many secrets, of being the killer. Before he can even question Desmond about the incident, Desmond suddenly disappears, leaving Anthony even more suspicious that Desmond is the true killer. 

However, Anthony doesn't realize two things: 1. His friend is the very thing he hunts. 2. Desmond is much more than just a murderer, he's a monster.
