Beneath the Surface
In the aftermath of the battle of Hogwarts, Harry goes to find Severus Snape's body. A lot of things have changed in his mind when it comes to Snape, and he thinks he deserves to be buried like the hero he is. However, what is his surprise when he finds him alive! And Harry decides that the decent thing to do, and what he wants to do, is to stay and help him heal. A story of healing and recovery, acceptance, friendship, and love. The tale of Estavir is a metaphorical dive into my burned out mind as he searches for deeper meaning and climbs Mt. Sensan-Ghi filled with trials to test his heart. This is my first published work of fiction. It was conceptualised during a burnout I experienced back in 2017. With support from family, friends and a professional with whom to talk, I tried working through the burnout over the period of a year.
