About 40 years ago people began to mutate, gaining special powers and plunging the world into ruin. In recent years a company simply called "The Complex" has managed to help the mutants integrate into society. Most mutants joined complex of their own free will but some have chosen to fight against it. When a new group of mutants join complex they are tasked with tracking down and capturing a rouge mutant who can control people's minds and erase their memories. While trying to capture the rouge the group end up finding themselves in the middle of a conspiracy that challenges their morals and relationships
