Because Nobody is better than Somebody, and Somebody makes her smile though lips painted red with lipstick she doesn't like, wear the black dress that is in the back of her closet for a reason, makes her labor over curling irons and hair for longer than she wants to - but Nobody lets her dance under night skies in the rain with streetlights instead of stars - and that is everything and nothing at all.
Oh, c'est la vie; such is life.
[or Evan remembers when Julie was seven instead of seventeen, when they didn't know the suburbs were where people watched life go by and where everyone talked but no one said anything, and he wishes the rain would last forever]

[basically just a short story about a boy in love with his childhood friend who has no idea; centered around one snapshot moment/an epiphany]

He hugged her more tightly feeling nervous about what he was about to say next. "If we divorce now.. will I stop being a burden?" She didn't say anything but took off her ring and gave it on his hand. He nodded and pulled out the documents but she didn't let it go. "Don't even bother hesitating. I promise, your life will get easier." She nodded. He took them and signed. "You are finally free...!!" • • She has suffered enough. It still hurts but hide it inside. He wants her to be free for once. But he doesn't want to let her go. • • Read 'Memories With Rain' to know the end of the story. Primrose was raised to be a perfect little girl her whole life, at a young age she was raised to perfection, kitten heels, dresses and manners of a lady. She met a boy named Xavier in preschool, a skinny little boy with glasses, she grew fond of the funny little boy and they became good friends despite his family being short of money. When Primrose was 8 and Xavier was 9 years old Xavier's Fathers business hit the jackpot and went sky high making them one of the richest families in the country. He moved away leaving primrose in her perfectly controlled life. Years passed, Xavier changed in every way possible, he got contact lenses and his hair grew darker with age and he was toned and covered in tattoos. He was unrecognisable. Primrose however hadn't changed one bit, she had light blonde hair with soft curls and bright green eyes. She still wore perfect prim dresses and kitten heels and held herself like a lady and was kind to everyone even the worst of people. When Xavier returned to his home town at 19 he recognised primrose who is now 18. However she didn't recognise him. (TW: I have made this story mature for very small reasons such as how her father treats her and her mother and it may be upsetting to some so please be mindful of this when reading the story. There is also bullying and controlling behaviour mentioned. Otherwise it's pretty PG within the book)
