Because Nobody is better than Somebody, and Somebody makes her smile though lips painted red with lipstick she doesn't like, wear the black dress that is in the back of her closet for a reason, makes her labor over curling irons and hair for longer than she wants to - but Nobody lets her dance under night skies in the rain with streetlights instead of stars - and that is everything and nothing at all.
Oh, c'est la vie; such is life.
