"Just drop your weapon!" Clara finally exclaimed. "I promise to tell you everything, yeah?" she said more gently this time. 

"She won't hurt you," she added. "Please, just trust me this time.. I won't keep anything from you again," Clara said and walked towards him. "She's a dragon, Clara," Edmund said while still holding his sword. 

"Do you trust me?" she asked gently. "Y-yeah," he replied. She touched his hand gently and with that, Edmund finally lowered his sword.
