Sage Harrington has always felt out of place. It didn't help that she was a dark skin black girl going to an all white school in an all white neighbourhood. To make it even worse she's the only alternative lesbian in her neighborhood too. She'd long given up on befriending her ignorant peers and simply stayed by herself in her room. After a while, as much as she didn't want to admit it, she kind of missed having friends.

Her silent prayers were answered when Ophelia Waterson moved in 3 houses down from her. She had glistening brown skin and to her surprise was also a lesbian. They never spoke until....

that one night.

66 parts Complete Mature

Aria Jackson is new to Lakeville High School as a sophomore, and due to trauma from her old school, she doesn't talk to anyone outside her small group of friends. That is until she meets Sage Beckett. Sage has been attending Lakeville schools since the year before. She's known and loved by everyone, although, she isn't really part of the "popular" group. Her and Sage start to become really close within a month. Their friends start to notice, and they are telling the both of them that they like each other. Although, they both don't believe it (Even though it's quite obvious.) What happens when they go on their trip to Washington DC for choir, both sharing the same room, and start to realize their friends are right? TW: Mentions of SH, ED, death, split parents, s3xual assault, and bullying. Note: All of this is fiction. Some places, timestamps, and events are not real.
